I didn't want to make another thread for this, but I got the newslatter (and thanks) but I suggest adjusting the colours. It's not easy to read.

Strange - take a look at my screenshot:
It looks fine for me

Hmmm... maybe it's my browser, my virus-infected computer or just Hotmail doing this.
Thanks for sharing, Sem.

Hi again Lasse
You are right. I just checked my Hotmail (where I got most mails forwarded to) - and the result was just as yours:http://sem.vilhelmkiers.dk/arkiv/dadhotmail.JPG
Conclusion: Do not use Hotmail
Posted: Thu, 2005-01-06 01:00
hmm... I guess it's all web-based mails... my gmail does the same thing... time to set up the pop3 I guess....
Posted: Thu, 2005-01-06 06:27
Oh Lasse, you will never EVER be able to tease me for drinking again, wooohooooo. Well you could, and I'd just ask you to dance on the table with me

Sem, I know Hotmail is the devil but I can't leave my 5 year old mail-account behind. I'm so attatched to it.
ZD, I hate Outlook and setting up the pop3 settings on my brother's computer is the most frustrating thing I've ever done. More or less. Heh.
VD, huh? You lost me.

I see your point about using the same mailaddress for a loooong time. What I did when I changed, was to slightly switch the address, by forwarding all mails to the same account, but only answer from the New" account. Anyway - still got quite a few addresses, as the University, jobs etc. all gives you different addresses.
Btw why using Outlook when Mozilla has made an excellent mail-client?
Posted: Thu, 2005-01-06 23:28
hmm... that sounds like a way to do it, I suppose.
And Mozilla made a mail client? I'm interested... tell me about it.
Posted: Thu, 2005-01-06 23:54
Well, - I do not know that much about the right words to use, but I suppose you can call it a client...
It's an integrated part of Mozilla already. In the menu you need to select "Window", and then "Mail & Newsgroups".
Btw - of course it requires you to actually have an e-mailadress, that support the use of a pop-accounts.
I've heard that they have made a program called Thunderbird as well, but I'm not sure, if it's still just a beta-version. It should be the absolut perfect mail-program ever I've been told.

You don't need to download the entire Mozilla Suite. If you just want an e-mail client, download the Thunderbird instead. As Sem says, it's the perfekt company for your Firefox browser. And it's not a beta anymore. It's version 1.0 as well as Firefox.

I am not sure I'd call it the perfect mail client, but thunderbird IS good. I use it myself and recommend it.
Lasse, so I lost you, huh.
Does this ring a bell?http://home.1asphost.com/Lasse/pics/010.jpg
No? Well what about this:http://home.1asphost.com/Lasse/pics/021.jpg
Trust me, all the pics cracked me up! Best damn thing that happened in the 2005 so far, haha, almost beats the DL of GD

Funny. Now the text colour works perfectly. I don't know if it's a coincidence or if Azda changed anything, but the change is welcome nonetheless.
And VD, I thought I recognised the quote in your sig from somewhere. Heh. Though I never thought anyone would go onto my PRIVATE picture folder. Those are awful pictures, all of them, anyway.

VD & Lasse> Nice pictures, and lasse, you looks like a hell of a dancer... Whoaa... hehe
